Phishing Protection
Phishing is a type of scam that tricks users into giving out their personal information without knowing that they have been tricked. Typically, the phishing scam starts with an email that appears to have come from a bank requesting the user to enter account information, credit card numbers, or other personal information. The link on the page goes to a site that looks like the bank's web site but is actually a fake. Click here for more information about phishing. You can disable Phishing protection (not recommended) by de-selecting the Notify me when I am on a phishing site option. The Phishing Sites Detected box lists phishing sites that SpyCatcher has detected. |
